What is the meaning of Life？ What is the meaning of Work? How will you be remembered on your epitaph?

Jack Tseng of National Taiwan University (NTU)'s d.school introduced VIS G11 students to Life Design -- tools and techniques to help students design a meaningful life with direction, joy and purpose.

First, students plotted the major milestones in their life to draw their Wayfinding Maps. Then students had several weeks to create their Life Design Sketches, especially by plotting three alternative 5-year plans for their future. Finally, Jack Tseng invited students to brainstorm and share their ideas regarding "meaning of work" and "meaning of life". Ultimately our purpose was to allow students to find their ikigai -- their "reason for being“.
