Advanced Placement
The Advanced Placement (AP) Program provides VIS students with the opportunity to challenge themselves by experiencing college-level courses while still in high school. Students who take part in the program may also earn college credit, depending on their AP exam results.
At VIS, we currently offer AP courses in a variety of subjects. Each course follows a prescribed curriculum, and the examinations are standardized by the College Board. In recent years, offered courses have included Biology, Statistics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Psychology, Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus. These classes are typically held during the summer or after school as part of our elective program. All students must take the official AP exam and receive a score for any AP subject to appear on their transcript and receive GPA weighting.

大學先修課程說明
大學先修課程（Advanced Placement）讓VIS的學生有機會在高中階段就能挑戰並體驗大學程度的課程。參與此課程的學生，若在AP考試中表現優異，還有機會獲得大學學分。
VIS目前提供多項AP科目的課程。所有課程皆依循既定的課程架構，並由美國大學理事會（College Board）統一命題與評量。近年來所開設的課程包含：生物、統計學、總體經濟學、個體經濟學、心理學、化學、物理以及微積分等。這些課程通常安排於暑假或課後選修時段進行。所有AP科目皆須完成AP正式考試並取得成績後，才可登載於成績單並給予GPA加權。
