VIS G10 學生 Autumn Lin 受邀參加在美國芝加哥舉辦的 #美國社會學會（ASA）第120屆年會，並於「性別與性行為（Sexuality and Sexual Behavior）」分組論壇中，發表個人論文 〈美國同志族群的人口統計：來自2019全國社會調查的證據〉。

從官方日程表與發表者名單中可以看到，Autumn 作為唯一來自臺灣、代表 VIS International Experimental Education 的高中生，站上國際學術舞台與來自美國各大學的研究者同台發表，展現了 VIS 學生在國際教育與學術研究上的實力與潛力。

A Proud Moment for Taiwan

Our G10 student, Autumn Lin, was invited to participate in the 120th Annual Meeting of the American Sociological Association (ASA) held in Chicago, USA. She presented her individual research paper “Demographics of Gays and Lesbians in the United States: Evidence from the 2019 NSFG” in the panel on Sexuality and Sexual Behavior.

From the official program, it is evident that Autumn stood out as the only high school representative from Taiwan, presenting on behalf of VIS International Experimental Education alongside scholars from leading U.S. universities.

We are truly proud of Autumn’s achievement and her outstanding representation of VIS on the international academic stage!
