本次歐洲教育旅行圓滿落幕,學生紛紛以文字記錄這段難忘的旅程。以下是 G10 Morris Huang 對其與斯洛伐克前總理 愛德華·赫格 (Eduard Heger) 交流的心得:

On October 6, we attended the National Day reception of the Republic of China in Bratislava. The atmosphere there was memorable. The event brought together diplomats, parliament members, entrepreneurs, and many othrt individuals who I would normally not have a chance to meet at my age. During this event, I had the honor and opportunity to meet the former Prime Minister of Slovakia, Mr. Eduard Heger.

When I talked with Mr. Heger, we discussed many topics about the world and the future. He shared his view on how small places like Slovakia and Taiwan can still play an important role in the world by standing for democracy, freedom, and core values. We also talked about how Europe is changing after recent conflicts and how he became Prime Minister.

From this conversation, I learned that politics is not only about competition, but also about finding peace through understanding and communication. It made me realize that every country, regardless of its size, can influence the world if it chooses the right values and actions. This conversation helped me see international relations from a more realistic perspective.
