VIS PBL 秋季成果展圓滿落幕

今天,VIS 在華山 1914 文創園區舉辦了本學期的 PBL 期末成果展。
感謝各界朋友的參與與支持,讓展覽得以圓滿落幕!

本次展覽由高中部、國中部與國小部學生共同呈現,主題為「How can I make the world a better place」(我如何打造更美好的世界)。

Today, VIS held its PBL Exhibition at Huashan 1914 Creative Park. A big thank you to all our friends and supporters for making the exhibition possible!

This exhibition featured presentations by students from the high school, middle school, and elementary school sections under the theme "How can I make the world a better place?" The exhibits represented the culmination of a semester's hard work. Through games, videos, presentations, souvenirs, and other creative formats, students introduced their chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), showcasing their creativity and drive to make a difference. At the same time, it was also an honor to welcome, among many others, Ms. Joanie Kan, Executive Director of our Canadian partner school Columbia International College (CIC) and Ambassador Chang, former representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Austria, to the venue.

Let's recap the topic of each group:
G6: From personal to class-level and to the entire community, how does a Sense of Belonging Empower a Community and its Members?
G7A: How can we improve our environment to create a healthier world?
G7B: How could we use visual art to raise awareness of real-world problems?
G8A: How can digital technology be used to close the global inequality gap?
G8B: How can we use scientific principles and art to design sustainable (school) environments while also reaching the goal of equality for all?
G9A: How can we use graphic design to explore real social justice issues?
G9B: Exploring Taiwanese advocacy through interactive digital experiences.
G10A: Creating SDG-focused projects that make biodiversity thrive.
G10B: Exploring how business and food science shape our lives.
G11A: How understanding matter and chemical bonding support sustainable resource use and environmental protection?
G11B: Exploring social media trends to raise awareness and share insights on selected key topics.
G12: Self-directed research that reflects real-world practice, ranging from refugee issue in Thailand to indigenous identity in Taiwan.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the PBL teachers and administrative team who guided and supported the students throughout this journey. Thank you for making this exhibition possible. We believe every visitor could feel the students' passion and thoughtfulness through their projects, and gain a deeper understanding of VIS's unique PBL approach.

We'll share highlights from the exhibition in the future, please stay tuned!

We look forward to seeing you again at future PBL exhibition or other public events!
