This Wednesday, we had the honor of welcoming our college counselors, Ms. Kuo and Mr. Murn, for an insightful session on university admissions and finding the right fit.
Ms. Kuo began by introducing what "fit" truly means in the college application process. It does not necessary mean what we traditionally believe, but what is best for our students' personal interests. She took students through admission requirements and prerequisites across different countries, while also highlighted where VIS students have been admitted in previous years. The session covered key differences in application systems for the U.S., Commonwealth countries, Japan, and more, giving students a clearer understanding of each pathway.
During the second part, Mr. Murn then addressed questions from both students and parents, and helpeㄗd clarify concerns and next steps in the admissions journey.
This academic year is Ms. Kuo's first academic year at VIS, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to her for her dedication and support in guiding our students as they discover their paths toward higher education.
