A common saying among the Hakka people goes: "Better to sell ancestral land than forget ancestral words; better to sell ancestral graves than forget ancestral voices." Today, more and more people are learning the Hakka language out of interest, and this is no longer limited to those of Hakka heritage.

Congratulations to VIS JH student Lotus, who participated in the 114th Academic Year Junior High School Language Competition and won Second Place in the Northern Region in the Taiwan Hakka Phonetics & Characters category.
