Understanding Life Design: Presentation for Parents

Time:  Thursday, April 25, 16:00-17:00
Speaker:  Rosalyn Shih, VIS College Counselor
Welcome VIS Parents or off campus parents @4A or Online Google Meet

Life Design is a creative human-centered problem-solving method for tackling life problems developed by Stanford University’s Life Design Lab. From understanding priorities to prototyping career paths, Life Design offers a practical framework for shaping a fulfilling and meaningful life. At VIS, we teach Grade 11 students Life Design as a tool to help map their future paths from high school to college and beyond. In this presentation, we will cover the Life Design process taught to students in the second semester of Grade 11. We will also offer parents suggestions on how to support students as they explore their options in their college and career research and planning.
