On Tuesday, VIS was delighted to welcome Ms. Vrishti Savalani from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) for a special session introducing students to the university and its opportunities for aspiring creatives.
The session began with an overview of SCAD and its strengths in creative education. Students learned about SCAD’s distinguished alumni across a range of creative industries, as well as its faculty members, who bring professional experience and industry expertise into the classroom. With over 91% of its graduates continuing to work in creative fields, SCAD offers students a pathway to pursue their artistic interests and build careers in the creative industries.
The second part of the session focused on developing and presenting a strong portfolio. Students gained insights into how to showcase their artistic abilities, communicate their creative vision, and prepare their work for university applications. They also had the opportunity to receive feedback on their artwork from a SCAD admissions officer.

接著，分享會聚焦於作品集的規劃與呈現。學生學習如何透過作品展現藝術能力、清楚傳達個人的創作理念，並為大學申請做好準備。此外，學生也把握難得的機會，直接向 SCAD 招生官展示自己的藝術作品，並獲得專業回饋，進一步了解作品集可以如何調整與精進。
