VIS was delighted to welcome Christopher Loomis, Faculty Representative for International Admissions from the California College of the Arts (CCA).

CCA is one of the most recognized schools in the United States for art and design, and a member of the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD).

Chris introduced CCA's unique programs, which support creative practitioners to create a world that’s brighter, more inclusive, relentlessly innovative, and ecologically resilient.

Chris also sat down with students one-on-one to look at their work and give them specific advice on how to prepare their art portfolios. The most helpful tip from Chris: draw as much as you can -- and instead of copying photos, work from observational drawings!
