從工程到賽道｜VIS 國中部職涯分享

上周，VIS 國中部迎來一場充滿速度、科技與啟發的職涯講座。我們特別邀請來自 Audi F1 團隊的工程師 Justin Hsu，以「From Engineering to the Racetrack」為主題，與學生分享自己如何從工程領域一路走進世界頂尖賽車舞台的歷程。

這場分享不只是關於 F1，更是一堂關於熱情、專業與未來可能性的課程。Justin 向學生介紹 F1 背後龐大的工程系統與團隊合作，從車體設計、空氣力學、輪胎策略到賽事運作，讓學生理解一台賽車的背後，其實融合了工程、數據分析、科技與即時決策等多項專業。

分享過程中，學生們展現高度投入與好奇心，踴躍提出許多問題，從賽車速度的原理到 F1 團隊如何分工合作，現場互動十分熱烈。甚至連已經畢業的校友，也特別回到學校參與這場難得的交流。

在 VIS，我們始終相信，教育能讓學生學習知識，也能幫助學生看見多元世界。透過與真實產業接軌的分享，學生得以理解興趣如何轉化為專業，並開始思考：「自己的熱情，未來是否也能成為一條真正的道路？」

很開心孩子們能透過這樣的經驗分享，拓展視野、激發想像，也看見跨領域學習在現代世界中的重要性。

Last week, VIS Junior High welcomed a career talk filled with speed, technology, and innovation. We were honored to invite Justin Hsu, an engineer from the Audi F1 Team, to share his journey from the world of engineering to the pinnacle of international motorsport through a presentation titled “From Engineering to the Racetrack.”

Beyond Formula 1, this session was also a lesson about passion, professionalism, and future possibilities. Justin introduced students to the vast engineering systems and teamwork behind F1 racing, covering topics such as car design, aerodynamics, tire strategy, and race operations. Through his sharing, students gained a deeper understanding that behind every race car lies a combination of engineering, data analysis, technology, and real-time decision-making.

Throughout the session, students showed remarkable enthusiasm and curiosity, actively asking questions ranging from the science behind racing speed to how F1 teams collaborate under pressure. The interaction was lively and engaging, and even VIS alumni returned to campus to take part in this special event.

At VIS, we believe education is not only about acquiring knowledge, but also about helping students discover the many possibilities within the world around them. Through meaningful connections with real industries and professionals, students begin to understand how personal interests can evolve into professional pathways, and start asking themselves: Could my passion one day become a real career?
