The removal of floating debris is an important issue of today's ocean issues. Project Mars invites the social innovation startup, the Micro Plastic education team, to open workshops for our students. They not only introduce the existing methods and developments in solving marine debris pollution around the world but also conduct an interview and Q&A on the waste pollution in fishing ports in Taiwan. The students then had a design class to cultivate a floating garbage disposer that is suitable for use in fishing ports in Taiwan.
