We used nutrient-rich media to cultivate bacteria collected from various places, such as doorknobs, face masks, laptop keyboards, and paper money which are all bacteria habitats. For today's lab, we isolated and grew bacteria from a hand-shaken drink before identifying the species. We performed this back-to-back comparison because we would like to know how hygienic the environment is.

As we suspect the hand-shaken shop may harbor more bacteria than the surroundings, thus we might expect to unveil more bacteria species next week. I'm very much looking forward to this. This brand new experience was quite intriguing as it is an activity that ordinary Taiwanese high schools will never have. -
