VIS 2025 Opening Ceremony

Today, the Opening Ceremony was held smoothly at the Taipei City Department for Youth.

The ceremony, hosted by G12 Chih Chi Sun and G9 Ian Hsiao, began with the Student Council announcing the new academic year's members and activity plans. A big thank goes to the Student Council for their dedication over the summer, especially under the leadership of the new president, G12 Miu, who helped with planning for the entire VIS community.

Following this, Chancellor Huang and Principal Investigator Professor Tsaur each addressed the students; they offered encouragement and urged everyone to study hard, stay grounded, and enjoy learning in the new semester.

Next, Mr. Thomassen and Mr. Clarke introduced this year's teaching team and revealed the driving question for the upcoming PBL Exhibition. Mr. Byron briefly touched on the importance of PBL with his own experience.

The ceremony concluded with an activity led by the Student Council, i.e. making omamori. Students wrote their names on slips of paper and placed them inside the omamori. This gesture expressed their wishes for growth, success, and fulfillment in the months ahead.

VIS would like to extend our gratitude to all the teachers and students who attended, our host, and photographer G10 Owen Huang, as well as to our administrative team. Your dedication is the strongest support for our students on their learning journey!

VIS 2025 開學典禮圓滿落幕

今天的開學典禮於 臺北市政府青年局 順利舉行。

典禮由 G12 Chih Chi Sun 與 G9 Ian Hsiao 擔任主持人。開場時，由 #學生會 正式公布新學年度的成員名單與活動規劃。特別感謝學生會在暑假期間，在新任會長 G12 Miu 的帶領下不懈努力，為全體 VIS 進行多項規劃。

隨後，Chancellor Huang 與 計畫協同主持人 曹教授，分別為在場的新舊生送上殷切期望，勉勵大家在新學年度中勤勉努力、腳踏實地、快樂學習。

緊接著，Ian 老師介紹了本學年度的教師團隊與 Well-being Team，而 Byron 老師則說明了 PBL（專題式學習）的核心與規劃，並同步揭曉本年度 PBL 展覽的主題。

典禮的尾聲由學生會帶領御守製作活動劃下句點。學生們將自己的名字寫下並放入御守之中，寓意將心願與祝福收藏其中，期許新學期能夠學有所成、收穫滿滿。
