College Application Seminars at VIS

This week, VIS students had the chance to gain valuable insights from guest speakers who guided them on finding the right path for their future.

Monday
We welcomed David Dai from the University of California, Riverside.
Our students explored one of the ten campuses in the UC system, learning about academic programs and international admission requirements. After the presentation, there was a UC Application Workshop for G12 students.

Wednesday
We hosted Keny Sanchez from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Creativity took the spotlight as students discovered how to build strong portfolios and craft compelling artist statements that highlight their unique voices. Later in the session, Mr. Sanchez reviewed student portfolios and offered personalized feedback and valuable insights to help them refine their work and prepare for future applications.

VIS 大學申請講座

本週 VIS 舉辦兩場大學申請講座，參加的學生們可藉此探索升學方向，汲取寶貴經驗，為未來規劃奠定基礎。

週一
我們迎來了來自加州大學河濱分校 (University of California, Riverside) 的 David Dai。學生們認識加州大學 (UC) 系統中的十個校區之一，並了解該校的學術課程與國際招生要求。講座結束後還有特別為 G12 學生舉辦了一場 UC 申請 workshop。

週三
我們接待了來自芝加哥藝術學學院 (School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC)) 的 Keny Sanchez。學生們學習如何打造出色的作品集，以及撰寫能突顯自我獨特聲音的藝術家自述。在課程後半段，Mr. Sanchez 親自檢視學生們準備的作品集，並逐一給予專業建議與個人化回饋以協助同學們精進作品，為未來的申請之路做好更充分的準備。
