在 VIS,我們相信真正有力量的學習,往往始於學生提出的一個問題、一個觀察,甚至一個想改變世界的小小想法。這次由 G12 Miu 發起的行動,正是最好的例子。從最初與 G12 Anna 與 Annie 一起推動的 VIS 堆肥計畫(compost project),到進一步連結聯合國 Global Schools 網絡並促成 Global School Pledge 在 VIS 的簽署,讓我們見證一場由學生發起、影響整個社群的學習歷程。
我們要特別感謝 Miu 在 PBL / VISYCLE 3.0 專題中的投入與領導,也很高興看到她把對永續議題的關心轉化為具體行動。這正是 VIS 所鼓勵的學習方式——讓學生從問題出發,連結全球議題,並在真實世界中創造改變。

I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to lead the initiative of bringing the Global School Pledge to VIS Experimental Education and connecting our school with the UN Global Schools network. Throughout my PBL/ VISYCLE 3.0 project, I have constantly been asking one key question: how can we make sustainability efforts within our school truly lasting?
With the encouragement and guidance of Mr. Reynolds, Mr. Clarke, Dr.Lewis, I was inspired to bring this idea forward and invite our school leadership to take part. What began as a school compost project with G12Anna and G12 Annie gradually grew into a broader vision of promoting environmental responsibility within our campus.
