2026 VIS PBL Recap - G6

We continue our PBL Exhibition recap with our Grade 6 students!

This semester, Grade 6 intended to answer the driving question: How can digital literacy create a sense of belonging? Their project was connected to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, encouraging students to use technology as a tool to build stronger and more inclusive communities.

Students began by building a solid foundation in digital literacy, learning about netiquette, online safety, and cultural awareness. They also strengthened their research skills by learning how to identify reliable sources and evaluate information critically.

To better understand the needs of their audience, students interviewed their own grandparents, combining these first-hand insights with secondary research to design a meaningful and engaging workshop. They then presented their ideas to social workers, who provided valuable feedback to help refine their lessons and activities.

The project culminated in presentations at the Zhongzheng Elderly Service and Day Care Center, where students shared their knowledge with senior participants, as well as at the VIS PBL Exhibition, where they showcased their learning journey and final outcomes.

This PBL experience allowed students to develope digital literacy and research skills, and learne how empathy, collaboration, and service can create a positive impact in their community.
