本學期，G9A 以 Just Design 為主題，圍繞核心問題：「平面設計如何促進社區中的社會正義？」學生結合 SDG 10「減少不平等」 與 SDG 16「和平、正義與健全制度」，透過跨領域學習探索設計如何喚起社會關注、推動公共對話，並成為促進社會改變的力量。

專題一開始，學生從在地社會正義議題出發，透過攝影、拼貼、情緒版與視覺敘事等創作方式，奠定藝術與設計基礎。隨著研究逐步深入，各組將調查成果轉化為完整的品牌識別，從 Logo、品牌視覺到雜誌企劃，運用平面設計清楚傳達所關注的議題與理念。

整個學期中，學生歷經資料蒐集、草稿發展、同儕回饋與反覆修正，持續精進作品。除了完成專業設計的主題雜誌外，各組也製作實體展示作品，並規劃互動式展覽體驗，引導參觀者以不同角度理解社會議題，進而產生反思與對話。
各組聚焦於不同的公共議題：

Key Rights 關注移工看護遭遇的歧視，思考如何給予這群默默照顧他人的工作者更多理解與支持。
Shelter for All 探討臺灣居住正義與高房價問題，分析低收入家庭面臨的居住困境。
Ma'ataw 聚焦海洋生態破壞對達悟族文化、族群認同及傳統生計所造成的衝擊。
Petals of Kindness 提醒大眾正視生活中習以為常、卻容易被忽略的身心障礙歧視，以及冒犯性言語帶來的傷害。
Beyond Impressions 挑戰社會對少數族群的刻板印象，探討偏見如何影響我們看待他人的方式。
Line of Sight 深入了解視障者每天面對的生活挑戰，並鼓勵大家思考如何打造更加友善且無障礙的生活環境。

透過 Just Design，G9A 深刻體會到，平面設計創造美觀的視覺作品，同時傳遞故事、倡導公共議題、發揮社會影響力的重要媒介。學生結合研究、創意與同理心，運用設計引發社會對話、打破既有偏見，並以實際行動展現設計如何成為推動社區正向改變的力量。

Our PBL Exhibition recap continues with Grade 9A!

This semester, Grade 9A explored the theme Just Design, tackling the driving question: How can graphic design promote social justice in our community? Their interdisciplinary project connected to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, demonstrating how design can raise awareness and inspire meaningful social change.

Students began by exploring local social justice issues while developing their artistic foundations through photography, collages, mood boards, and visual storytelling. As their research deepened, they transformed their findings into unique project identities by creating logos, brand kits, and magazine concepts that communicated their chosen issues through thoughtful graphic design.
Throughout the semester, students refined their work through research, drafting, peer feedback, and revision. In addition to producing professionally designed magazines, each team developed tangible design elements and interactive exhibition experiences that encouraged visitors to engage with important social issues from new perspectives.
Each group investigated a different challenge facing our communities:

Key Rights explored the discrimination experienced by migrant caregivers and asked how we can better support those who care for others.

Shelter for All examined Taiwan's housing affordability crisis and the barriers faced by lower-income families.

Ma'ataw highlighted how the destruction of marine ecosystems threatens the culture, identity, and livelihoods of the Tao people.

Petals of Kindness raised awareness of casual ableism and the harmful impact of offensive language toward people with disabilities.

Beyond Impressions challenged stereotypes and prejudice by exploring how bias shapes our perceptions of minority groups.

Line of Sight investigated the daily challenges faced by people with visual impairments and encouraged visitors to consider how communities can become more accessible.

Through Just Design, Grade 9A discovered that graphic design is a powerful tool for storytelling, advocacy, and social impact. By combining research, creativity, and empathy, students demonstrated how thoughtful design can spark conversations, challenge assumptions, and encourage positive change within our communities.
