Hello, my name is Chloe and I’m the owner of the cookie shop Chloe’s. I first started baking for others when school had to be held online and the pandemic was at its height.

I realized how hospital workers were very busy and had to treat a lot of patients each day under the condition of risking being diagnosed with covid as well. I wanted to start baking cookies to thank them, and my family and I would buy drinks and, along with the cookies, send them to a hospital in Yilan. 

After the pandemic had eased, I continued baking just for fun. My friends loved my cookies and that was when I decided to do something bigger, and to also help more people out there.

I established an official cookie shop online, and I donated the profit to children in Africa through worldvision.org. Starting last month, I rented stalls at 松菸 to sell cookies, and I plan to do that monthly. I donated all the profit earned from there to Ukraine to support the victims that are currently suffering from the ongoing war. 

Recently, I collaborated with Humanizing Taipei to sell cookies at our school’s snack bar every week. The money would be donated to their organization. I hope by doing these little things, I could contribute to somewhere in the world.
