Following on from our PBL unit about Food and Culture, the moment in art class we are trying our hand at making realistic fake food, based on the Japanese art of Sampuru. We spent time designing and writing out our process first because we are working with air dry clay and paint that requires careful timing to dry properly. This week we were adding our colours as realistically as possible.
