Over the past few weeks, our Grade 10B PBL students have been deeply engaged in studying ecosystems and the design process. Their exciting project involves building model zoo enclosures using eco-friendly materials to create environments where animals can thrive.
To gather inspiration, the students visited the zoo, taking detailed notes on the materials used and the enrichment features in place. They also had meaningful conversations with zoo staff about the design of enclosures and the challenges faced in maintaining them. These hands-on experiences have not only enhanced their understanding of ecological balance but also honed their skills in sustainable design.
