In collaboration with High Tech High, an #experimental high school based in #SanDiego, #VIS and High Tech High grade 9 students are eschewing modern technology to build bridges between our two schools. Using the "#oldschool" method of pen, paper, and the postal service, students are using #postcards to reach out to their "#penpals" to share about their lives, #culture, and unique perspectives. This experience will allow the students to see the benefits of both the past and modern technologies and examine the impact of communicating across different mediums.
